Humming Birds - Splendid Birds in Costa Rica (April 2026) 蜂鸟 – 哥斯达黎加的美丽鸟 (2026 年 4 月）

Home to over 50 species of hummingbirds, Costa Rica is a paradise for hummingbird lovers. These remarkable creatures inhabit everything from lush tropical rainforests and cloud forests to backyard gardens. To fuel their high-energy lifestyle—which includes hovering and flying backward by beating their wings up to 80 times per second—they feed constantly on nectar and tiny insects. We visited numerous hotels and private reserves equipped with feeders, giving us front-row seats to a huge variety of species across different regions. While I wouldn’t call myself a hummingbird enthusiast, I still walked away with some truly fantastic photos.

哥斯达黎加是50多种蜂鸟的家园，堪称蜂鸟爱好者的天堂。这些迷人的小生物栖息在各种环境中，从茂密的热带雨林、云雾森林，到寻常人家的后院花园，无所不在。为了支撑它们高能耗的生活方式——包括悬停和倒飞，扇动翅膀的频率高达每秒80次——它们需要不断吸食花蜜和捕食微小昆虫。我们走访了许多设有喂食器的酒店和私人保护区，得以在不同区域近距离观察到种类繁多的蜂鸟。虽然我算不上狂热的蜂鸟迷，但还是拍到了一些非常精彩的照片。
