Several groups of Chinese Americans organized the rally in support of officer Peter Liang. The majority of Chinese Americans saw Peter Liang as a scapegoat for the NYPD’s mismanagement and an easily target of punishment to pacify the angry of the Africa American community. I attended this rally to support Peter Liang for justice and fair treatment. He made a mistake, but cannot take all the blames for other police officers’ wrongdoing in the past.
