Olive-backed Euphonia and Yellow-throated Euphonia – Splendid Birds in Costa Rica (April 2026) 绿背歌和雀黄喉歌雀 – 哥斯达黎加的美丽鸟 (2026 年 4 月）

The Yellow-throated Euphonia (Chlorophonia flavifrons) and Olive-backed Euphonia (Euphonia gouldi) are small, colorful finches commonly found in Costa Rica. Both inhabit forest edges, gardens, and tropical woodlands, feeding mainly on fruits, especially mistletoe berries, as well as some insects. However, they differ in appearance and habitat preference. The Yellow-throated Euphonia has a bright yellow throat, forehead, and underparts, with a dark blue-black crown and back. The Olive-backed Euphonia is more subdued, with an olive-green back, yellow underparts, and a darker face. The Yellow-throated Euphonia prefers wetter forests, while the Olive-backed Euphonia is often found in drier habitats and open areas.

黄喉金翅雀（Chlorophonia flavifrons）和橄榄背金翅雀（Euphonia gouldi）都是哥斯达黎加常见的小型、色彩艳丽的雀类。两者都生活在森林边缘、花园和热带林地环境中，主要以果实为食，尤其喜食槲寄生浆果，也会捕食少量昆虫。

不过，两者在外形和栖息环境上有所不同。黄喉金翅雀拥有鲜艳的黄色喉部、额部和腹部，头顶和背部呈深蓝黑色，色彩对比强烈；橄榄背金翅雀则颜色较为柔和，背部呈橄榄绿色，腹部黄色，面部颜色较深。黄喉金翅雀更偏好湿润的森林环境，而橄榄背金翅雀适应性更强，常见于较干燥的林地、灌木区和开阔环境。两者均以悦耳的鸣唱和活泼的觅食行为而受到观鸟者喜爱。
